Meals and Food
Due to the successes of the bran flakes and possibly the chillies yesterday I haven't had any today through out the day I grassed on fruit and veg, it worked its way through the day for a larger meal in the evening.
Dinner - slow cooked beef and veg in stock
Now here is a great money saver as well as a time saver. when you see joints of meat on offer grab a few they can be kept in the fridge for a while if not frozen.
This top side of beef was half price, 2.428kg for £12.09
To save money you can take cuts off meat of it, wrap up different portions up ready for different times ect. cut it in half and freeze a joint to roast or turn it into steaks your self, we know a steak is a steak but if your looking to not brake the balance and still achieve healthy meals this is a grand way to do it.
I cubed half of one and added it with some off these veg, A whole packet of each including a broccoli cost me £4.69 and only needed to use half so iv still got plenty left.
Once they I chopped it all i dropped it into a slower cooker and left it for the day I was done and the thing is yeah it may be a lil repetitive but iv prepared my dinner and tomorrows lunch and there may even be enough for a potion to be frozen. so what took me twenty minuets to prepare has saved me time in the future and cost "well not much at all really" with ingredients left over for other things as well.
Exercise
Right today I switched it up completely as it was such a bright day and I had time too, I made the most of it.
In my garden I skipped for 20-25 mins with my everlast slimming belt (check entry what you may need) not continuously, with being that bit out of shape due to putting on weight and not exercising i was out of breath plus its been a long time since iv been able to use a rope and kept snagging it on my leg. but it was nice to to be out side.
And once again making the most of the sunshine and the slimming belt instead of running on the machine in the gym I jogged / walked to the gym instead, the distance was around 1.84 miles. i was all warmed up and ready to go once I arrived.
Now I thought about today and I want to really establish the whole the first week of every phase is the most relaxed and over the weeks you will see things increase. and knowing that i was going to work back tomorrow as its in my grouped muscle days I to things nice and easy. remember you dont wana burn out or make your self ill, take it easy its ok to.
so I did these exercises on the gym machines.
Leg extensions 3x10 35kg
Seated leg curl 3x10 35kg
Calf extension 3x10 50kg
Hammer strength machine mys row 3x10 30kg
Hammer strength machine mts front pull down 3x10 30kg
Shoulder press 3x10 30kg
Shoulder pull ups 3x10 17.5kg
Shoulder shrugs 3x 10 22.5kg
You may not want to work out every day thats fine, you may want to go in with the determination that you want to do more thats fine, but don't over do it and remember "EVEN SLOW PROGRESS IS PROGRESS" and trust me it will pick up soon enough, its only day three.
